My Current Read
You know when you read a book that so unexpectedly sucks you in, that you look up and your weekend is over? That’s how Valley of the Dolls, by Jacqueline Susann was for me. I know. I finally got around to reading it. I truly didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I did. So when it came time to choose my next book, I was a bit nervous. The follow-up book to one that draws you in so thoroughly is usually a bummer, but I think I might be getting lucky here. I am currently reading The Friday Night Knitting Club, by Kate Jacobs. I picked up this book two years ago, started reading it, and promptly left it in an airport. It took me a while to finally purchase another copy, and I haven’t regretted it. I might just be on a roll here.
